Roslivan Strengthens Lebanese–Russian Cooperation in Civil Defense and Disaster Management

Roslivan President Mohamed Nassereldine joined the Lebanese Civil Defense delegation in Kazan for meetings with Russia’s Ministry of Emergency Situations aimed at strengthening cooperation in civil defense, disaster management, emergency response and joint training.

As part of the efforts of the Russian–Lebanese Cooperation Office “Roslivan” to strengthen relations between Lebanon and Russia, Roslivan President Mohamed Nassereldine participated as a member of the Lebanese delegation headed by the Director General of Lebanese Civil Defense, Brigadier General Imad Khreish, in working meetings with the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations in Kazan.

The meetings focused on ways to develop cooperation in the fields of civil defense, disaster management, emergency prevention and response, in addition to exchanging expertise and promoting joint training between Lebanese and Russian rescue teams.

The Lebanese delegation also participated in the 16th International Exhibition of Security Equipment “Integrated Security,” where it reviewed the latest Russian technologies and solutions in the fields of safety, rescue and emergency response.

Both sides stressed the importance of continuing professional cooperation and exchanging expertise in a way that contributes to strengthening the capabilities of emergency services and protecting lives.

This participation represents another step toward consolidating Lebanese–Russian cooperation and developing practical and institutional relations between the two countries in the fields of civil protection and disaster management.
