The Russian Embassy in Lebanon commemorated the 80th anniversary of the victory over Nazi Germany with a cultural and musical festival held at the Temple of Bacchus in Baalbek Citadel, in the presence of Russian Ambassador Alexander Rudakov and Lebanese officials, religious figures, and cultural representatives.

The Russian Embassy in Lebanon commemorated the 80th anniversary of the Soviet victory over Nazi Germany with an official reception at the Phoenicia Hotel in Beirut, attended by Lebanese officials, diplomats, military representatives, academics, religious figures, media professionals, business leaders, and members of the Russian community.

The Russian Embassy in Beirut celebrated Defender of the Fatherland Day at the Phoenicia Hotel in the presence of Lebanese officials, diplomats, military representatives, and cultural figures. During the ceremony, Russian Ambassador Alexander Rudakov presented Mohamed Nassereldine, President of the Lebanese-Russian Cooperation Office, with the Order of Honor on behalf of President Vladimir Putin.

Roslivan’s Director of Administrative Affairs, Mireille Malaki, met with the Director General of Lebanon’s Ministry of Culture, Dr. Ali Al-Samad, to discuss coordination for a Russian Embassy celebration planned at Baalbek Citadel in May, marking the 80th anniversary of Russia’s victory in the Second World War.

Mohamed Rifaat Nassereldine honored the eight elected municipal councils and mukhtars of the Hermel District during a gathering on the banks of the Orontes River, attended by council presidents, members, and political and social figures.

The Lebanese-Russian Cooperation Office “Roslivan” installed dozens of billboards across Lebanon to congratulate the Russian people on Victory Day and commemorate the defeat of Nazism on May 9.
