Roslivan Launches Nationwide Victory Day Billboard Campaign

The Lebanese-Russian Cooperation Office “Roslivan” installed dozens of billboards across Lebanon to congratulate the Russian people on Victory Day and commemorate the defeat of Nazism on May 9.

The Lebanese-Russian Cooperation Office “Roslivan” launched a nationwide billboard campaign across Lebanon to commemorate Victory Day and preserve the historical memory of the defeat of Nazism.

Dozens of billboards were installed along major roads extending from Beirut toward northern Lebanon, southern Lebanon, and the Bekaa region. The campaign carried messages congratulating the Russian people on Victory Day, which is commemorated annually on May 9.

The billboards featured historical scenes from the Second World War, including Soviet soldiers, military vehicles in Berlin, and the iconic image of the Victory Banner being raised over the Reichstag.

The messages displayed across the campaign included:

“May 9 — The Great Victory Day.”

“The Lebanese people congratulate the Russian people on the Great Victory Day.”

“Peoples who defeated Nazism cannot be defeated.”

“We remember and take pride.”

“Victory over Nazism is an eternal historical truth.”

The visual materials documented in the file include roadside billboards, bridge banners, and a large building-mounted display bearing the Arabic and Russian Victory Day message and the years 1945–2025.
