Mohamed Nassereldine: Lebanon’s Participation in the International Youth Festival Strengthens Human and Youth Dialogue

Lebanon’s participation in the International Youth Festival in Russia represents an important opportunity to strengthen human and youth communication and build new bridges between young people from different countries, according to Mohamed Nassereldine, President of the Russian–Lebanese Cooperation Office “Roslivan” and Chairman of the Lebanese National Preparatory Committee for the festival.

Nassereldine emphasized the importance of Lebanese youth taking part in international initiatives that allow them to exchange experiences, acquire new knowledge and establish friendships with young people from different cultural backgrounds.

He noted that the participation also contributes to strengthening communication between Lebanese and Russian youth and promotes deeper mutual understanding between the two societies.

The Lebanese delegation is participating in the International Youth Festival in Yekaterinburg, Russia, which takes place from September 11 to 17, 2026.

Prior to the trip, the Lebanese participants received guidance on the festival and their stay in Russia, with particular emphasis on respecting Russian history, culture and traditions while representing Lebanon and its youth in a positive and honorable manner.

Nassereldine encouraged the participants to remain open to dialogue, benefit from the cultural and educational opportunities offered by the festival, and proudly introduce other participants to Lebanon, its culture and values.

He stressed that youth initiatives of this kind help strengthen friendship and understanding between Lebanon and the Russian Federation and create new opportunities for cooperation and interaction between the younger generations of both countries.
