Lebanese Youth Participate in the International Youth Festival in Yekaterinburg, Russia

A group of Lebanese youth is participating in the International Youth Festival, hosted in Yekaterinburg, Russian Federation, from September 11 to 17, 2026.

The participation comes with the guidance and support of Mohamed Nassereldine, President of the Russian–Lebanese Cooperation Office “Roslivan” and Chairman of the National Preparatory Committee for the festival, alongside Preparatory Committee Secretary Galina Abbas and Roslivan representative Yulia Cherepanova.

As part of the preparations for the trip to Russia, the Lebanese participants were provided with information and guidance regarding the festival and their stay in the Russian Federation.

Particular emphasis was placed on respecting Russian history, culture and traditions, while representing Lebanon and Lebanese youth in a positive and honorable manner.

Nassereldine and Yulia Cherepanova wished the participants success and encouraged them to make the most of the experience on both personal and cultural levels by gaining new knowledge, developing new experiences and forming friendships with young people from different countries around the world.

Participants were also encouraged to remain open to dialogue and communication with others, respect the host country and its traditions, and proudly share Lebanon's culture and identity with fellow participants.

Nassereldine stressed that the participation of Lebanese youth in the International Youth Festival represents an important opportunity to strengthen human and youth communication between Lebanon and countries around the world, particularly between Lebanese and Russian youth.

He added that such initiatives contribute to strengthening friendship and mutual understanding between Lebanon and the Russian Federation and open new opportunities for interaction and exchange between the younger generations of both countries.
