Lebanese Russian Cooperation Office & Russian Lebanese Cooperation “ROSLIVAN / روسليفان”

ROSLIVAN provides services, consultancy, and training for the development of programmes for individuals, associations, companies, universities, and schools. It organizes and manages conferences and seminars in Lebanon and abroad concerning mutual cooperation between Lebanese and Russian cooperation councils and business councils, economic and social bodies, governmental and non-governmental institutions and administrations, educational and cultural organizations, and related youth activities. ROSLIVAN also represents public and private institutions and organizations and coordinates with diplomatic representations and missions in Lebanon and Russia.

Nassereldine Visits Economy Minister to Discuss Strengthening Lebanese-Russian Economic Cooperation 23 July 2026, 12:46 East News Mohamed Nassereldine, President of the Lebanese-Russian Cooperation Office, Roslivan, and President of the Center for International Economic Cooperation with the Middle East and North Africa, CIEC–MENA, visited Minister of Economy and Trade Dr. Amer Bisat at his office in the ministry. He was accompanied by the office’s Director of Legal and Administrative Affairs, Miray Melki. During the meeting, Nassereldine praised Minister Bisat’s efforts amid the current economic challenges, emphasizing the importance of continuing efforts to stimulate economic activity and create new opportunities for Lebanon. The meeting addressed several economic matters, as well as ways to develop cooperation between Lebanon and Russia and expand trade and investment exchanges between the two countries. These efforts aim to serve their mutual interests and create new opportunities for cooperation. The participants also discussed a proposal to organize the Lebanese-Russian Economic and Investment Forum, “Beirut 2.” The forum would seek to strengthen communication between economic and investment stakeholders in both countries, explore opportunities to develop commercial and investment relations, and open new prospects for the private sector. The discussions also highlighted the importance of activating international economic cooperation to support the Lebanese economy and strengthen its presence in foreign markets. Communications and preparations related to the forum are expected to continue during the coming period.

Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia (RUDN) Alumni Association in Lebanon

Established and officially registered with the Lebanese Ministry of Interior in December 2017, the Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia (RUDN) Alumni Association in Lebanon brings together approximately 250 members. The Association consists of three branches: RUDN University alumni, a youth wing representing Lebanese students at RUDN University, and Friends of RUDN University. Center for International Economic Cooperation with the Countries of the Middle East and North Africa

The Center for International Economic Cooperation with the Countries of the Middle East and North Africa is an autonomous non-profit organization dedicated to developing economic and international cooperation between Russia and the countries of the Middle East and North Africa. Its activities include strengthening business relations, organizing trade missions, exhibitions, conferences, and investment initiatives, supporting joint economic projects, and providing advisory and informational services to businesses. The Center also promotes cultural, educational, scientific, humanitarian, diplomatic, social, and charitable cooperation between Russia and the region.

Community Initiative

Open Education Center of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation in Lebanon

The Open Education Center of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation in Lebanon opened in Ainab on August 1, 2024, at the RUDN University Alumni Association in Lebanon. The project is implemented by the “My History” Foundation for the Support of the Humanities and Moscow State Pedagogical University, with the support of the Russian Ministry of Education. The Center provides free educational programs that introduce Lebanese citizens to the Russian language, science, culture, history, and education. Its activities include Russian language courses, cultural and historical programs, and events covering Russian literature, traditions, folk crafts, national holidays, and Slavic heritage. Since its establishment, the Center has trained approximately 1,400 participants and delivered 10 Russian language programs.

Lebanese National Preparatory Committee for the World Youth Festival

The Lebanese National Preparatory Committee for the World Youth Festival was established in 2023 to prepare and coordinate the Lebanese delegation’s participation in the 2024 World Youth Festival in Sochi, Russia. The Committee consists of five members: Mohamed Nassereldine, Chair of the Committee; Galina Abbas, Secretary of the Committee; Irina Sakr; Riad Najim; and Alaa Kanaan. Since its establishment, the Committee has supported and supervised the youth festival movement in Lebanon, assisting Lebanese young people with their preparation and participation in World Youth Festival programs and events held in Russia.

Cooperation Begins With Direct Dialogue

ROSLIVAN provides a practical point of contact between Lebanon and Russia. The office brings together public institutions, businesses, universities, specialists, cultural organizations, and community actors around initiatives with clear bilateral value.

In July 2025, ROSLIVAN organized the Russian-Lebanese Economic and Investment Forum in Beirut, creating a two-day space for government representatives, companies, and experts to discuss trade, investment, technology, agriculture, industry, and export opportunities.
